2. Data Collected

The following categories of data are processed in order to provide the service: identity data (first name, last name, date of birth), contact data (student e-mail), profile data (university, interests, photo), usage data (interactions, messaging metadata) and technical data (device, IP address, log records).

3. Purposes of Processing

Data is processed for the purposes of establishing membership and verifying student status, providing and personalising the service, ensuring security, fulfilling legal obligations and, where you have given explicit consent, marketing communications.

4. Transfer of Data

Data may be transferred to domestic server and infrastructure providers for the operation of the service, and to authorised public institutions where legally required. Transfers abroad are made only where the conditions set out in Article 9 of the KVKK (Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698) are met. In the event of a data breach, notification is made within 72 hours at the latest. For commercial electronic messages, the provisions of the İYS (Turkish Commercial Electronic Message Management System) are reserved.

5. Retention Periods

• Profile data: for the duration of membership and for 1 year after it ends
• Log records: 2 years
• Marketing data: until consent is withdrawn
• Payment records: 10 years

6. Your Rights under Article 11 of the KVKK

You have the right to learn whether your data is being processed, to request information, to request its correction or deletion, to know the third parties to whom it has been transferred, to object to a result arising from analysis by automated systems, and to request compensation for damages.

7. Security Measures

Your data is protected by technical and administrative measures including access control, encryption, regular backups and authorisation.

8. Children's Data

Yirmi is closed to persons under the age of 18; data belonging to persons under 18 is not knowingly processed.

1. Parties

This agreement is concluded between Yirmi, the operator of the Yirmi application (the "Platform"), and the user who becomes a member of the application.

2. Subject

The subject of this agreement is to set out the terms of use of the services offered through Yirmi and the rights and obligations of the parties.

3. Membership Requirements

To become a member, you must be at least 18 years of age, complete verification with a valid e-mail address from a higher education institution, and comply with the single-account rule.

4. Rules of Use

The following are prohibited: sharing unlawful, harassing or insulting content; sharing other people's personal data without permission; creating fake profiles; spreading spam or unsolicited commercial content. In the event of a violation, the account may be suspended or closed.

5. Scope of Service

The Platform offers profile creation, messaging, matching, group and event features. It is not guaranteed that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free.

6. Intellectual Property

All rights to the trademarks, designs, software and content belonging to Yirmi are owned by the Platform; they may not be copied or used without permission.

7. Privacy and KVKK

The principles governing the processing of personal data are set out in the Privacy Policy and the KVKK (Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698) Privacy Notice.

8. Disclaimer of Liability

Users are responsible for the content of communications and posts between users. The Platform accepts no liability for third-party links or user-generated content.

9. Termination of Membership

The user may terminate their membership at any time. In the event of a breach of the rules, the Platform may suspend or terminate the membership. See the Delete Account page for details.

10. Amendments, Governing Law and Jurisdiction

The Platform may update this agreement. This agreement is governed by Turkish law; the Istanbul (Çağlayan) Courts and Enforcement Offices have jurisdiction over any disputes.

5. Collection Method and Retention Periods

Data is collected electronically through the application and the website. Profile data is retained for the duration of membership plus 1 year, log records for 2 years, marketing data until consent is withdrawn, and payment records for 10 years.

6. Breach Notification

When a data breach is detected, the data subjects concerned and the Board (Turkish Personal Data Protection Board) are notified within 72 hours at the latest.

7. Your Rights

You may submit your requests under Article 11 of the KVKK to info@yirmi.social; applications are answered within 30 days at the latest.

2. Scope

This consent covers the sending of campaign, announcement and event notifications via SMS, e-mail and in-app (push) notification channels.

3. Message Management System (İYS)

Following incorporation, consents will be recorded in the İYS (Turkish Commercial Electronic Message Management System); you may withdraw your consent at any time via the İYS or through the opt-out link in the message.

4. Declaration of Consent

By ticking the relevant box in the application, you give your explicit consent to receive commercial electronic messages within the scope described above.

1. Zero Tolerance

Yirmi enforces a zero-tolerance policy against child sexual abuse and exploitation material (CSAM/CSAE). Any such content is removed immediately and reported to the relevant authorities.

2. Moderation

The platform is protected by 18+ student e-mail verification. In-app reporting tools are provided; repeated violations result in permanent account termination.

3. Reporting Channels

You can report suspicious content or behavior via the in-app "Report" tool or by e-mailing info@yirmi.social.

4. Legal Compliance

Yirmi fully complies with applicable national legislation and app store child-safety policies.
